Yeah, some "Real-Life(TM)" issues have came up, and I'll probably be out of the loop for awhile, and gone from playing JK2 for even longer. My guess is a month or month-and-a-half. This is completely unavoidable, and its also out of my control. However, 1 good thing comes out of this: I'm leaving the Dakotas for good! w00t!

So, if you don't see me on the server for awhile, I'm not dead....i hope sneaky

Update/Off-topic: My mouse problem MAY be fixed now. I tried another distro of Linux (Fedora AKA Red Hat 10) and the mouse was still quitting on me. Found out it may be a "console mouse services" thingy....(The ability to use your mouse in a completely console enviroment)... and this implementation is wiggy. Since I have no use for a mouse in a console (purist), I killed it. We'll see.

At least it's a "good thing" that's keeping you away. GL with the move too! We'll keep the riff-raff in line while yer away, no worries.

That sucks, Mish, but maybe it's worth the meatlife hassle to make the move out of ND for ya? That's what I'm hoping anyway.

Anyway, here's to hoping that you get a little worse and I get a little better at dueling while you're gone! cheers

I'm currently moving to Oklahoma, somewhere like just outside the capital. I'm pretty much following my family there. Then I'll stay for awhile, make some dough, maybe get some extra schooling or something for like in a programming, or other tech field, then I'll try hopping down to FL. I got some family there so its not a big problem, if I did have problems with that move.

Leaving ND is the best thing about the whole thing. This state is literally 20 years behind, and the ISP here is a monopoly and runs their servers on Win95 mad

I should be back on the MAF like in 2 days after moving down there, but not on the server until I get broadband up. So, I won't "completely" disappear, just not on the server much. But who knows, maybe the ISPs down there won't be so draconian or something about the setup fees and I'll be back on in no time. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. I'll also have access to my yahoo mail (check my profile) sometime within 2 days also.

I'll still be here for this week, and a little of next, but my presence will be lessened, as my freetime, whenever I can steal it, is sporatic at best. Mostly late-night tho.

Anyway, thanks for the good luck wishes. I'll NEED them! wink

And don't get your hopes up on besting me in dueling! big_smile Oh, and kick some SITH ass for me while I'm gone! wink
