rendezvous, what exactly is it?

I'm new to the whole mac thing.  just got a new 800 ibook about 2 weeks ago.  I keep hearing about rendezvous, but i don't know what it is exactly.  and I can't seem to find it anywhere on my computer.  can somebody tell me where to find it? or do the ibooks not come with it?  thanks.

Re: rendezvous, what exactly is it?

Rendezvous is a new technology from Apple that lets devices automatically recognize eachother configure themselves.  Software and hardware can take advantage of this, such as iConquer and TiVo, respectively.

So its not really a program that you can find on your HD or available to download, it is more of a technology, used by a program, to add easy automation.
