I'm sorry, as I said in another thread, I was sheltered from 1st person shooters... even if they were brilliant.
I'm making it a priority to play eventually... I'm sure it's as good as everyone says it is.

Was the first thing that came to my mind (Marathon, that is).
If your looking for a something a little more modern, I'm going to say Halo, even if it isn't out yet.

there are much better games on xbox, ps2, and the pc.

I would have to say Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Text Adventure. Other than that, NetTrek. Those games rule.
If ya want something a little more modern, go with Marathon 2.
A bit more modern than that.... go with Jedi Knight II.
And even newer... Jedi Knight: Academy **isn't out yet for mac, should be soon**
and there is always Halo, **will be out on the 11th**

Fallout or Fallout 2 obviously. Anything else cannot really compare to either of these games.
