Fallout or Fallout 2 obviously. Anything else cannot really compare to either of these games.

I like to switch around from game to game (because just playing one game gets BORING, well at least for me it dose). I go from MOHAA:SH, to Starcraft or even URT 2003, but sence Halo came out i think i will have to add that into the line up........ Just my thought.....

hell yah, I put Hitchiker's Guide game on my old palm pilot! along with Zork.
Marathon is cool, though I never could beat the final level. Anyone wanna tell me the ending?

diablo good
starcraft not fun but cool cutscenes
prob my fav game so far is Max Payne.
Engaging story and awesome gameplay.
also doom 2. (dont have g5, no doom3)

Best is Escape Velocity.
Best 3D is UT2000 (Preview 3 for OS X )
Best Adventure is Return to Zork
Best sim is SimCity 2000
Best Blizzard game is Starcraft! (WCII is great but not OS X and WCIII is more about graphics than gameplay)

First of all, reece_james, change that avatar, second, A Tale in the Desert is one of the best mac games (it's an MMORPG), a shooter, Halo, hands down! Simulation, Sim City 4 or The Sims.

Graphics help, but yeah, sometimes the old games you can play for days and not get bored! Ender Wiggins, I know I'm not a mod...I was just stating my opinion that the avatar was inappropriate. And, where is Ender Wiggins? Holy cow!

There is only Marathon, Marathon 2: Durandal and Marathon: Infinity for shooters.
Deus Ex was an excellent game as well.
As far as your other catagory there is only SimCity 2000 and Civ3.
And dont forget Baulder's Gate for AD&A RPG sytle games.

Personally, I like the whole Myst series, although I could only ever beat Myst and Riven. I've played the Marathon demo before, it's pretty good as well.
