Re: Best Mac game?
Definitley UT2003 and games like it. UT2003 would be much better with a story mode, though :-(.

I loved that game! I still have the floppy somewhere! Spin Doctor was also great.

No, not really. Good game, but number II was better. More polish, better plot, better level design, just better.

I just got Battlefront. It's pretty sweet, but they downgraded the graphics from the Xbox version. Bummer. It works flawlessly on my machine tho, so I guess it pays off.

Call of Duty [:UO] for decent singleplayer campaign.
Unreal Tournament 2k4 for arcade singleplayer and okay multiplayer
Red Orchestra for UT2k4 for satisfying multiplayer
Civ III and Tropico are fun too.

Diablo 2 for me....that game caused me to lose too much sleep. I haven't invested that much time into a game on a Mac since I finally hid the discs from myself. I think WoW is starting to have the same effect....

Too bad there are no disks to hide from yourself for that.

Re: Best Mac game?
Starcraft is the best game on mac. I don't care much about graphics.
At school we took over one of the computer labs and played starcraft on network multiplayer all the time.
EV original (Don't like Overide much) is cool.
EV Nova is kinda cool.
Still Love Sim City 2000.
Alpha Centauri is one of the best, most involved games I have played.
And i also like Star Wars Battlefront.
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

I think you mean that your computer can't reach the graphics of the xbox, on some comps it probably looks way better than the xbox.
Anyway, there are some certain classics on the Mac, among them are:
Marathon
EV
Bolo
Note that these games were Mac only (or at least mac first). Games such as UT and JK II don't count IMO.
