I've found evidence of extra terrestrial life!
Naw, I'm just yanking your chain... I am interested in your cause though and would like to know what type of internet connection I would need, and where I would download the software from. I'm not the type of guy who would leave my computer on 24-7, but heck, we're talking E.T. here - I've just got to be a part of this.

you dont need a broadband connection for this. you just need processor power.

Lots of processor power is perferable...

You really don't even need all that much processor power. There are plenty of people with older machines turning in work units. Just down load the software (about 4 minutes using dial up) and install the software ( about a minute) then register and download your first unit (1-2 minutes with dial up).

'Ol Bondi is still chugging away in all it's 233 mhz glory here, producing a work unit every 21 hours or so.
