10.2 and a netapp filer

any thoughts on what I need to do to get 10.2 to talk to a netapp filer? I can connect via SMB but it gives me an error after uploading anything (-50) and will only upload one item at a time...

This is getting to be a pain, our IT department is useless... and I don't know anything about networking or linux or unix or whatever that thing runs (but I could give you a mean lecture on color theory)

anywho, does anybody even know where to look for this information? I've poked around the web, but I haven't found anything useful (It's me, I know)

thanks in advance

Re: 10.2 and a netapp filer

Found this on another forum I'm begining to frequent:

finder> go > connect to server..
type smb://filer/yourusername
in the address column..

try that..

a window on SMB/CIFS filesystem authentication
will pop up..
make sure u know the workgroup or domain.. the
username and the password.

Haven't tried samba this way so I don't know if it will work?
