Should I keep the updates?
Should I keep all the updates I've saved from 10.2? If just ordered a copy of Panther, and I'm starting to back up stuff so I can perform a clean install.
My thinking is I may want to install 10.2 again some day, if I pick up a piece of older hardware that won't take 10.3 (or whatever)
Does apple get rid of all the updates after a while? Or will I be able to use software update a couple years down the road?

They'll still be there. As long as you're not on dialup you've got nothing to worry about.

Re: Should I keep the updates?
is there a way to back up my iPhoto files? I'd like to keep my titles and keywords intact.
