It might be mascara. I don't think ANYONE--salon or otherwise-- bleaches Eyelashes....There is no such thing as a safe  bleach.

Re: Dying eye lashes

Please tell me that a guy with taste is not automatically considered a metrosexual. Yeah, I'm off topic.

haha! My little brother came in my room a couple weeks ago, looked at me and said "Ame, I think Im a metro". I almost fell off my chair laughing at that. He is a little...style conscious but thats what happens when you have two older sisters who could open a sephora with all the crap they have.

Re: Dying eye lashes

I can understand very well. I have red hair and my eyelashes are very light colored. Without mascara, i look like a have no eyelashes and am 15 years old or something. I live with my fiance, and would rather not have him see him like that. Dying my eyelashes costs practically nothing (just dip an old mascara wand in dye, and then reuse it next time) and it looks fine. I really do not see the problem. Come on, like 5 dollars a month to improve your looks? Some spend more than that on lip balm.

I would think it to be a slightly dangerous practice.  I know no one who does it.

They showed a man and a woman getting done. Eyes closed with some sort of paper thing under the lashes right up to where the eye is closed. They didn't seem too uncomfortable.

I've got blond lashes, but gave up on mascara because even water proof smears on the lowers. One of the advantages of mascara is it accentuates lashes by making them look longer and fuller.

I'd like the idea of dying lashes if there was a safe way to do it

This one isn't quite yet.

I don't know why emonjeau resurrected it, but I sympathize as far as having almost invisible lashes goes. As far as fooling her fianc - wait 'til he yanks out his false front teeth, says, "Thorry, I din't want thu to thee me like Thith, Thweetie - until we were married, and Thu couldn't run."

I've never lacked for attention from men, even though I never wear makeup. Eventually they are going to see you without it.
