Re: 40 Days & 40 Nights - Who wants to join in?
Why in the name of the Holy Buttered Buddha would you even want to do this? I'm at a loss.
(As for me, there's no way imaginable I'm in. If I wanted to deny myself, I'd still be Catholic.)

I like to challenge myself, plus other personal reasons.

While people are complaining about a lack of nookie to see who's waited the longest.
A friend of mine lost his father before he was born. His mother hasn't had sex since she conceived. My friend is 21.

I've been known to take up a personal challenge or three myself. But if I eschew onanism, I may get a little cranky. And I don't like myself when I'm cranky.
Plus, I haven't seen my wife for over a month, and I'll be seeing her in less than a week. No chance in hell.

Eh, it's possible she's lying, but assuming she isn't lying to me, that's what she told me.

So hopefully you made it almost 40 days with no sex at least.

Au contraire. As Woody Allen might say, I had sex with someone I love.

You'd better not be talking about your pets.

40 days and 40 nights without sex? It can be done, but I'm not playing, sorry. You want something hard? Same time, but no TV, or no music, or no MAF

I'm pretty sure he doesn't want anything hard for 39 more days or so ... .

So he plans not to sleep? And if he does, he won't dream? Do you know what I'm talking about?

One of but many pitfalls to his plan, imo.

Re: 40 Days & 40 Nights - Who wants to join in?
I am surprised that no one has suggested that this 40 day-thing be made a bit more interesting. I say there is no reason to swear to give up sex for that long, willingly, unless there is money involved.

Yeah we should start a betting pool.
Except lying would be really easy.
