Jaguar to Win2k - How do you set up a password in 2k?
I can recognize my roomate's Wintel machine running 2k (Jaguar/Rendevous is awesome), connect, but when it asks for a username/password, we don't know where to set one up in 2k. I just hit okay and it gives me this error:
Connecting to smb//:etc etc
An error has occurred (error = -5023)
Where can I set up a password in 2k?

Not sure on the client side. But on the server side you would go into Administrative tools>Add Users and Computers. Go to the user folder and add new user from the action menu or right click. Although, if your freind has set up a username/password for his W2K computer? You ought to be able to connect using that username/password. If he doesn't want to give out that username and password you should be able to share a folder. Right click the folder and turn on sharing. The folder should show up in the OS-X connect to server list if it's shared properly.

Thanks! It didn't work, but I appreciate it.
We just set up an account on this side. Knock up another win for Mac-- easy networking that works!
