Re: WTH??
One thing that I have noted on my G5 is that after playing Halo UT2K3 will act funky. This resolved by a restart. Also make sure that in the Energy Saver panel Processor Performance is set to Highest.

Re: WTH??
I get the same thing going from Halo to 2k3. A quick Log Out and Log In (no jokes please) fixes it. Isn't there some processor tweak for the G5 in the Sys. Pref.s for allowing full speed cycles?

As above. Since I'm not on my G5 at the moment and can't look at the pref pane it might be called something else but the idea is to turn off processor cycling so that the proc is operating at full speed all the time.
