God?
What does the cheat code god do anyway (don't say it puts you in god mode 'cause I know that already.) I've tried it a couple of times and I havn't noticed any difference.

It basically makes you invincible. Turn on god mode, nothing hurts you, and you can jump off ledges and such that would normally kill you, but with god mode on only get you stuck in a pit

The term "god mode" is a REALLY OLD phrase. I mean its a practically universal term for invincibility. I know I've been saying it for over a decade. You sir, are the first person I've met that didn't know it.
Don't worry though, I won't hold it against you. I, myself, have never heard the term "undying" used to signify god mode. Different regional dialects I presume.

In undying, I think that you can still take damage (you just get 999 health), but in god mode you are almost totally invincible-the enemies can't damage you, etc.

Most of the time in undying, you are invincable. No matter how much life you would loose, you will always stay at 001 life as long as you don't refil your life. In some rare cases, even with undying on, no matter how much life you have, you will die, even if your fall is less than a foot. Is that the way it is on god mode?
