actually its done on a keyboard so its technically not a bassline, but it sounds like a bassline.

I use the opening guitar riff from AC/DC's 'Thunderstruck." Even cooler, it's actually a recording of the song and not a MIDI file, so it ended up sounding really cool. Another friend of mine has the Pink Panther theme, which also works really well.

There are about 1000 ringtones you could make out of Depeche Mode songs(without even giving away that its depeche mode). Their songs sound like extended ring tones anyway.

Mine is "Old Phone" on my T610.
i LOVE that ring. its my ring on my s700i. except for annoying people, i gave them a 25 second banana phone loop in mp3.

I couldnt find any sweet ones on my phone so I settled with the Mario Brothers theme, it was the coolest one I could locate.

just revisited it. absolute classic of a ringtone. I should mention also that i use 'real' tones and haven't bought one just raided my music collection and trimmed it up.
People who just select the mp3's there listening to annoy me slightly, precisely because they never answer the bloody phone. there waiting for the song to kick in.
on creatin a tune in reason thou. I'm not musically inclined enough to create a tune. I just listen to em.

For a while, I had the final boss theme from Super Mario World. I just switched to Hatikva (The Hope, Israeli national anthem) yesterday, though. This is on a T610.

my phone can make voice recordings for memo's and such. I can assign these recordings as a ringtone. So, I can record my own ringtones.
So my ringtone is currently the theme song for Aqua Teen Hunger Force
