Important Information
We had a similar thread before the cleansing wrath of "Data Corruption," but it was a post-January thread, so its gone. Here I am attempting to rebuild that library of useful information for the benefit of all MA Halo-dom.
First of all, let's get the easy and obvious out of the way.

Download GeekTool
Install
Open Preference Panes
Create a New Entry
Select it
Choose Shell under the drop down menu
In the Command text box, enter:

Set Refresh to 360
Set personal settings (text color, transparency, placement, etc)
Exit GeekTool
Play Halo
HBO
