anyone use Deck?

In my quest to have a decent home studio, I've been doing some research on audio interfaces and software for my powermac.  I decided to go with the M-audio Delta 44 based on my needs, price, and reviews.  For the workstation software, I thought I'd give Deck LE a shot, since it has the features I need and is very cheap.  So I downloaded the demo to give it a whirl, but when I tried to moniter the sound (using my iMic, since my mac has no built in audio-in), I had tons of pops and clicks and the pitch even sounded like it was off (I tried to quit the program and try agian a couple times and it was always either higher or lower in pitch).  There is nothing wrong with the iMic-- it works just fine with Sound Studio.  Is this a problem with Deck?  Is it just configured wrong?  Will I have the same problems with the Delta 44?

meh.
