Re: Subway vs Quiznos
I can't ask for mayo from Subway anymore. No matter how much I try to get it through their thick skulls to only put on a little mayo they still go down one end of the sandwich, back up the other and make a little hill of it in the centre. Is this just a regional thing or does it happen everywhere?

Re: Subway vs Quiznos
It depends on who serves me, aki. If I say nothing, it's always two passes, if I stress a little bit of sauce, sometimes they do two quick passes, sometimes just one. No-one's ever made a little hill in the centre.

My god I'm so hungry.
Mmmm... mayo.
In and around the lake,
Mountains come out of the sky
And they stand there!

Re: Subway vs Quiznos
I've never eaten at Quizno's (they don't have many locations here) but the Subway's by my house/school are very good. They pile on to the toppings and the dressing the bread is always fresh and the people are very friendly. They are also very clean compared to a lot of fast food places.

There are nine Quizno's in Albuquerque. The one on Central just east of UNM is probably the best. They're much better than Subway.

Have them put it on first. Then "Ok, now take off about half or that."

Re: Subway vs Quiznos
I've only seen one Quiznos in the entire city and it's a large restaurant located practically pretty much across the road from a mini Subway outlet. Never been in Quiznos but I can't say Subway has ever disappointed me.
