Graphics Cards

I'm looking to get a new graphics card and I need some advice, so what would you guys say is the best buy for a graphics card?  I'm looking at a Geforce4ti 4200, 4600, and Radeon 9500 pro.  What's my best option and why?  (yes this is for a PC if your wondering)

Re: Graphics Cards

At this point, the best value looks like the Ti4200. In many cases it turns up comparable framerates to the 9500 Pro, for 2/3s the price... however, the 9500 does pull away when using progressively higher degrees of FSAA and AF, it has a better featureset (DX9, future OpenGL- 2.0?), it comes stock with 128M memory (128M 4200s cost substantially more), and there are reports of a software hack that purportedly opens the 9500 up to the 8 rendering pipelines of the 9700 part. I can't swear to that last one. (There's no way around the 128 bit vs. 256 bit memory interface difference between 9500 and 9700, tho).

Newegg shows the Gainward 64M AGP8X version for $133, vs. $197 for the 9500 Pro (they're reportedly in short supply).
