regarding UT2k3
Whenever I try to open it, it opens, comes up w/ the little splash screen and then quits. It does this in 10.3.6, and in 10.2.8. Anyone know how to fix it?
Thanks, mostlyharmless

Have you installed the most recent updater for UT2K3?

Hmmmm, OK time for the voodoo fixes:
Repair permissions on your hard drive using 'Disk Utility'.
If UT still won't start, try repairing your hard drive using 'Disk Utility'. However you'll have to boot from your Panther installation disk one to do that. When the installer window is displayed select 'Disk Utility' from the file menu.

Re: regarding UT2k3
Well it seems I have half solved my problem. UT is missing alot of files, although I don't know why. Both disks installed without error.
Edit: I un-zipped got it working. It turned out it didn't install a few texture files.

Re: regarding UT2k3
Hmm...
If all else fails, first reinstall. Alot of times it's your case where files are missing or are corrupted (or in the case of a PC, you changed something in UnrealEd that you weren't supposed to, but that usually causes erros when joining a game).
My new laptop:
1.8 GHz Athlon 64 Processor
512 MBs of RAM
64 MB nVidia Geforce4 440 chipset (not shared with system ram) (hauls @$$ though
)
40 Gig HD
15.4" Widescreen Display
Wireless 802.11g card (builtin)
24x CD-RW/8x DVD-ROM drive
