Re: rise of nations vs. civilization 3
Both are the newest additions to their respective franchises, and both have expansion packs to add to the experience (at least on PC, they do). I haven't played either, however, although I have purchased them both and really want to play them.
I've got a long list of games I haven't installed but really want to play. Homeworld 2 is in there, too, as well as some awesome classics like Shadow Warrior.

I just ordered Shadow Warrior a couple days ago for about 5 bucks including taxes, shipping and handling. I'm giving it to White Eyes to save for my Christmas present.

Is that on PC or Mac, tBC? I just installed SW and tried to run it, but XP doesn't like doing DOS games, so I'm gonna have to crack out my free copy of VirtualPC that MS gave me.

Mac Shadow Warrior. I played the demo back when it first came out but for some reason never bought the full version, yet to this day I still say, "You no mess with Lo Wang!"

XP does earlier DOS games better than many from '94-5; usually sound issues. The original Looking Glass 'System Shock' Glenda worked on was of that vintage. Quite the classic. I recently picked up an original JC Duke Nukem for $5 at a show; haven't tried it yet.
OTOH, I have the Win95 M2: Durandal. It installed and ran well on original, unpatched XP with the right compatibility settings.

You gave Shadow Warrior to White Eyes?!
