AA batteries run in series...
Alright, so I've got these shoddy wireless headphones that I gutted and turned into a transmitter for a Mac. It's works beautifully. My goal is to turn it into something functional and presentable.
The only problem is that the headset/receiver runs on AA batteries. It needs to be plugged into the wall. It just has 2 AA batteries run in series. I really don't have enough electrical knowledge, which definately a shame (heh, 7 more semesters on my ECE degree and still have to take unrelated classes next semester...). That means 3V, right? Anyway, does anyone know what it would take to rig this up to the wall?

You'll only need a very small DC converter. 3V, 300mA. You will need a matching set of power plugs, a female one for the transmitter and a male plug for the adapter. Radio Shack should have a matching pair, but if you want to save some money then you should visit an electronics components store.

In the very first ECE class here (taken second semester Freshman or 1st semester sophomore year), they make you build a variable power supply...
did that in a HS electricity class.
You know the hole, the one you put the pie in?
My mean my pie-hole?

Did that on my own time.
