Now I can't be to sure about this; but for some reason when I listen to my headphones on my G4 tower, I can't adjust the volume that's on the menu bar. Nor can I adjust it on the keyboard.

Example: I'm listening on my itunes. I turn the volume down a bit on the itunes. Well I want to turn the volume down a little more from the keyboard or menu bar. The sound is still stationary. Doesn't go down nor does it go up!

Now when I take the headphones out from the jack, and I'm controlling the volume, it works! I did the same procedure that I did when the headphones were in. Could it be something internally that's connected to the jack or something? Because I'm dumbfounded at this point!
