So you're looking for a cheap, n00bish version; one without trajectory or tracers? wink

I don't know of anything like that.  I'm personally very fond of the ninja rope mutator.

Re: Looking For A Good translocator mutator

Well you can change the arc of the fire, there is the old UT way which is more straight and level or the UT2K3 way (default) that has the high arc. That setting is under your Game tab in settings. Look for the High Beacon Trajectory. Uncheck it for the old flat and level UT style of fire.

As for distance the thing will shoot all the way across Face Classic. How much more distance does one need? wink

I'm not aware of any mod that disables the trail. There is a UT mod that changed to TL to Quake 3's grapple hook. I'm not sure if that mod was updated to work with 2K4.

Re: Looking For A Good translocator mutator

Pretty much lookin for that cheap noobish one shrug
I know ive seen it around.  I do have the ninja rope already and that is pretty sweet.  Hmm i remember disabling the high beacon trajectory and not finding quite what i wanted (I dont remember an increase in distance) but ill have to go through it agian and check it out.

Thanks

Take a look at this or this. The first one looks more configurable. I have not tried either of these so I can't give you any more info on them.
