The moderator is dead... long live the moderator!

Hey team,

Just wanted to say that I decided to step down as a moderator here at MacAddict. It's been a fun 5 years but time constraints have been keeping me from doing the job as I should so I thought it was only fair to step down and let someone else do the job right.

I'm not going away (if anyone cares), but we thought that dvpierce would be a good fit to take over the SETI Team forum.

As you probably know, our team site bit the big one with the big server debacle in November. I tried to get it back online before the holidays, but with the hectic mess that is, I was unable to. I am only now able to spend time on it again, so hopefully our team website will be back by the weekend. If all works well, it will be in place using the non-changeable URL listed on the SETI@home site. wink More on that as it develops.

So there you have it... welcome the new mod and give him a hand!

::bows::

Glad to be here folks.  smile

I wasn't going to start this thread - I figured this forums is quiet enough nobody would notice.

Whew!  Maybe now that we've got a real moderator in here we can get down to business and actually contact some ETs.

Freaking lousy phone-card-hogging mod that he was. mad
