I just purchased the Sims Unleashed. I also have Livin' Large, but that's it. I installed it properly, and Unleashed is giving me headaches. It crashes constantly, usually when switching to different lots. It runs like molasses, and won't even run in faster and fastest mode.

The game is basically unplayable. I never had any problems with the Sims before installing this expansion. (dual-500, radeon 8500, 512 megs ram). I have a few downloaded add-ons, but really not that many.

Is anyone else having problems with Unleashed?

I hate to have to re-install everything from scratch.. ugh. Anyone have any other suggestions?

trash all of the sims prefs. Includeing the original sims, livin' large and unleashed prefs. If this doesn't work those add ons may not be compatiable with unleashed, take them out and put them in another folder. If nothing improves put them back, if it improves trash em.

With any Aspyr game, its best to wait for at least 2 updates before buying one... they have a habit of leaving known bugs in order to get the games on the shelves quicker. mad

I wouldn't fault them since new patches come out constantly.

The PC version of the games they port are even buggier at the beginning.

Most of my Aspyr games are just fine. Problems usually occur when the PC version gets updated.
