Looking for an old PC game...sorry...
I've noticed that a lot of you around here also use PC's either because you have to or because you want to and some/most of you also use them for gaming so I thought maybee you could help me out with this one.
Many years ago in the 1990's I played a PC game called ROTT or R*O*T*T which stood for "Rise Of The Triad". It was a first person shooter a bit different from many others of the time. Ie:
* You couldn't jump but the game had springloaded plates on the ground which ejected you right up if you steped on them,
* You couldn't crawl but you could turn into a Dog! so that you could get under narrow passes,
* Most of the weapons where Fire-based and I remember the name on one of them FireWall which shoot away a grenade that when it landed resulted in a bidirectional wall of fire that incinerated anyone that came in its way.
It would be great if I could find this game again and maybee even a place to download it from(in case its abandonware).
Thanks in advance,
\Mm4e
Now, where in the name of... did I put that thing that I forgot what it was and why I was looking for it?

I remember that game. Back in my younger days, I used to play the shareware version of it on my Pentium 1. I installed it wrong or something and the sound didn't work, but I still had lots of fun with it. I liked the heat seaking bullets.
future events like these could affect us in the future
