The two questions I have are shoulds I have advanced pixel shaders on and/or FSAA 2,4,5,6,9X on?

Re: Halo FPS on a new PB?
Advanced shaders, yes. That should both look and run better on that chip.
You'll have to experiment a bit, but you should be able to set some FSAA. The Mobility version only has a 128-bit memory bus, tho; it's not as capable a full desktop 9700 Pro, so don't go nuts with it. 2X or 4X shouldn't have too great an impact. Perhaps 4X AF.
You can set Shadows Off for multiplayer as there's little benefit in DM, but a significant speed hit.
Sound variety= Low, Decals= Off will also save some horsepower,* and FSAA & AF Off for MP unless Teh Pretty is important to you in Slayer.
*Med or High/ On for SP

Re: Halo FPS on a new PB?
Ok, I will turn advanced shaders on and experiment with FSAA. Thank you for the input.
