Disabled students use iBook to make music...good read.
This was an interesting article in today's issue of The Tampa Tribune, our local paper, and I liked it and thought I'd share it with you guys.

I will pass it on to my old job. My old boss is a key guy in a clinic for such type kids. I can go tomorrow, it turns out. Perchance, coincidence, happenstance.

Re: Disabled students use iBook to make music...good read.
From what I gather the teacher has a bunch of sound samples and clips stored on the iBook and conducts the students to play the sound needed for each song. They're pretty much just triggering the sound that's needed like tapping a key on a keyboard to produce a letter or symbol. Somewhere along the way I guess they learn music theory.
I liked the article because it spoke about kids that were brought out of the isolation that their disabilities created. How ironic it is that a tool such as a computer, which when coupled with the Internet is said to be the cause of increased separation and isolation in our society today, can be used to free these students from the aforementioned isolation.

And you guys are hilarious: Ha-ha.
You wouldn't give a flying fuck who these kids were if they didn't use Macs, you don't care about them, you care about their platform. That makes me laugh.

And one more thing, champ: The operative words are your opinion doesn't matter. Not mine, not anyone elses', just your opinion doesn't matter. I hope that cleared some things up.

Oh, now I understand. Your opinion is of higher value. I'll remeber that the next time you make a stupid comment, stupid. It will make your stupidity more "valued" than others who make stupid comments. Thanks again for clarifying.
Oh, and I don't blame you for being stupid, I pity you. After all, it's all about genetics.

Hey wellfleation, you gotta think of it this way: How much is someone who makes fun of the handicapped (not to their faces of course) gonna care when someone says that he shouldn't?
Just leave it, you won't catch me bumping this thread again.
