usb printer in OS 9

here is the deal. I have two iMacs on an ethernet network. One computer is running 0S 9 with a usb printer attached. The other iMac is running OS X. How can I use the printer from the computer running OS X?

I have usb printer sharing enabled on the iMac with OS 9. I've tried to access it from the print center on the other mac but It doesn't show up.

I'm guessing that I'm probably doing something wrong. Is this type of sharing possible? If so then what do I need to do?

Thanks   smile

Re: usb printer in OS 9

Simple.  I had the same problem.  All you need to do is enable USB printer sharing on the OS 9 machine.  And then print ONLY USING CLASSIC (via USB printer sharing) on the OS X machine.  (Hey, I said there was a solution, not that it didn't suck).  No way to share a printer hooked up to an OS 9 machine to a machine running straight X).
