Georgia Tech puts OS X on Xbox
Seven Georgia Tech computer-science students installed an emulated version of OS X successfully on a modified Microsoft Xbox. They then created a website with detailed instuctions on how to copy their work. There's also an article about it in the upcoming March issue of Macworld which, if you're a subscriber like me, you already have or will have soon.
Oddly, this is familiar to you...

Wow. This was done in like - 2003.
It's just PearPC on top of Xebian Linux.
It runs at about 2% of the chip's clockspeed.

He's probably slow because he's running OS X on a XBox or something...

Re: Georgia Tech puts OS X on Xbox
Look in the link at the beginning of this thread. But considering the Xbox has a very slow processor in computer terms, OS X won't run well at all. The basic idea is these people modified and Xbox, installed Linux, and installed PearPC to emulate OS X which is slow as it is on a more sophisticated PC.

Re: Georgia Tech puts OS X on Xbox
Is there anyone out there that can help me with getting Linux onto my Xbox? Panther doesn't like the IMG files used to make my USB memory stick (read: iPod shuffle) so I can't get the files onto the Xbox. I have all the stuff, just can't get anything to work properly, and Xbox-linux.org is rather vague.

You don't need a modchip, there's a software method which uses the game MechAssault to load an emergency kernel of Linux onto the 'box. This is the tricky part!
