Re: How many points is a 6000 WU???

You should be ableto edit the log file and find out the name of the work unti you are working on.

Here is a link to the current units being run..
http://folding.stanford.edu/psummary.html

I have had a look and I can not see any units that work on that scale, (6000 steps) have a look at your log file for your unit name then look it up on the link to see what your unit is worth points wise.

Re: How many points is a 6000 WU???

There are no Folding proteins currently listed over 400 frames per unit. I personally have not seen this either.

Could it be something confusing from a GAH unit?

Re: How many points is a 6000 WU???

i realize this is long as hell and I've deleted a few of the middle parts. Kinda looks like it couldn't even send it. It processed it fairly quickly though... just in the last few hours.

Re: How many points is a 6000 WU???

It's a Genome unit, as suspected. They can have a lot of iterations, hence the 6000 you saw. It appears to be a test unit, as indicated by the protein name "1tst/pdb1tst.xyz". I'm glad it went quickly for you. smile

The IP address of the assigning server isn't listed in your log file, but it was most likely 171.64.122.125. According to the Server Stats page, that server is rejecting connections right now. I've also seen it happen that some people are every so often getting a protein from the Internal-only server, 171.64.122.110 accidentally (through no fault of their own). Problem is, it may be unavailable externally after you've completed a protein and you're stuck with an essentially unreturnable result.

Can you go back through the log and find out which server assigned the protein to you?

kinda wierd.... I got 6.4 points for it because it did return the unit.

Excellent. I'm glad it finally accepted the unit back. big_smile
