Umm no. MA3 runs UTAN, has been for months. UTAN has two levels of banning local and global bans. Only the global bans are network wide that affects everybody. That is if the admin doesn't opt out.

Some where on Unrealadmin.org is the global ban list. It's not that long and most of it are all the aliases ELF and other well known cheats use. If UTAN was run by a bunch of no name crack pots I'd be worried but it's not.

Yeah but that was a local ban and you're only banned on that server(s) (If that admin has more than one). Local bans do not populate, only the global bans do. Those are decided by "Professional" administrators like people at GameSpy and other big name gaming communities.

Part of the UTAN system allows the trusted admin's (Head Admin's at various GISP's) to add bans into our system so that they will be distributed to all servers running our server actor. We understand how controversial this could be and have setup the system so that if you don't want these global bans, so to speak, you don't have to receive them!

The system allows you to store you own bans for use of either your server or your GISP only, which are protected by a password. So storing all your bans in our system is possible making it very quick and efficient at sending the bans out to your servers.

The Server Actor was initially created by El_Muerte, an admin at UnrealAdmin. Lastly, the UTAN system is constantly being developed, so over time you will see more options available to you to use for your servers. Things like timed bans, so you can ban someone for 30minutes, 30hours, even 30days if needs be, anti-cheat news, and IP range banning are currently in the pipeline.

UTAN would like to announce the opening of a new UTAN sub-system named the Reconnaissance Team or the R-Team. This system has been introduced to help improve Unreal Tournament and Unreal Tournament 2004 Anti-Cheat Software.

The R-Team will monitor and process information and files contributed by members of the public. Due to the sensitive nature of such data, all information can be contributed anonymously and in confidence. No names will ever be mentioned if developments are made based on the information contributed.

The team are interested in receiving any of the latest cheats and releases by any members of the cheat community. Please note, this is NOT an invitation or encouragement for anyone to download, or search for cheats for Unreal Tournament or Unreal Tournament 2004 to just contribute them for processing to the R-Team.

Midway also went on record saying there would be no UT2005. No new UT this year.

EDIT: Yike! slow server 87.3 MB gonna take 1 hour and some odd minutes. Arrrrrgh!

The Mac 3355 patch includes the Bonus Pack to simplify installation.
