I think they should have prefaced the poem by saying, "IT'S A COCK, THIS POEM IS ABOUT A COCK" and then asked the kids what else it could be about. Like on Sex Education for Trainables when the teacher asked the retards for synonyms for penis. They got their giggles out and then discussed the serious issues.

Wouldn't that have to be over Oats' dead body? (God forbid!) A posthumous bachelor party has a specific name: an Irish wake.

Yeah, I'd just flown in from the West Coast the night before.   I didn't have an actual bachelor party.

Hmm, I was being serious. Things like this manage to get around my entire class in a day or two (I'm talking 1400 people). It really is quite amazing.

Such was the case in late december when one freshman figured out that by typing [specific word here]@siprep.org, they could send an email to every student's personal email address. When everyone replied telling them to shut up, they didn't erase the "everyone" email from the address bar, meaning that most of us woke up one morning to over 150 messages saying something along the lines of "STOP SENDING ME THIS CRAP." Hi freaking larious, and nobody fixed anything yet either.

Yes, that was a joke or more accurately a double entendre.  If I gave him a real bachelor party now, his wife might have to kill him. wink

Re: Purple Snake

Best bachelor party I ever went to - we went to a bowling alley and then to a pizza joint, and then returned to campus to play softball against the women who had just had their bachlorette party.

It was a riot.

As for the poem? meh.

Re: Purple Snake

I took this test just today, I didn't find it gross or anything like that. And are you sure it's:

"rough and wrinkled. Like his hands."

And not:

"rough and wrinkled."

I'm not sure I remember that sentance being in there.

I found the correct lines:

Slowly he strokes the wood,
rough and wrinkled. Like his hands.
He begins to carve his way.
“Mira. Its head, its scales, its tail.”

Snakes don't have legs or necks. Jeez.
