Re: (2-year wait) + (12" 1.5GHz Powerbook) = :D
lol thanks for the reply.. and actually... right now I can get an employee discount because I work part time for the college I am in...I'm in dual enrollment and this time its bitting me in the butt. You'd think that I'd be able to have the full advantage of being a college student, but no... their developer thing is only for "adults".. I have yet to turn 18 and I'm too impatient to wait until I do.
I'm liking the odds about the viruses.... my windows comp. at home, though i run the checks and all, is still slow which leads me to believe that theres something that norton isn't detecting.
And true, I'll be using the machine, but the thing with my father is that he has to play with every toy I get..... no lie.. if i bring it home and open it at home and he's there, I have to wait at least another hour before I get to even touch it..lol
Every hour I'm becoming more and more convinced that this one is the way to go... mainly cuz I want something my father doesn't know how to use, much less my family knows how to use.
lol.. i'm so mean, I don't want them playing with my toy..lol
at any rate.. anyone know anything about financing with apple or MBNA? or should i open a thread on that?

Sorry...I've been waiting a long time to buy this puppy, and it just feels good to finally have it. Just had to share.
(...oh, and did I mention?)
Score! Congrats Kev

Re: (2-year wait) + (12" 1.5GHz Powerbook) = :D
Hey, I got mine a small three days sooner.

I ordered it from Powermax on Monday (at 4:10pm) and it showed up the NEXT DAY via ground UPS at 10am. I am still excited. I take it everywhere. EVERYWHERE. But it is so cool. And it's the perfect size. I was a little gun shy and thought that maybe I would spend a little more money and get the 15"-er. But I figured if it was too "horrible" as far as screen real estate I'd send it back and trade up.
But Nope. Not gonna happen. This baby is perfect.
