can anyone can explain in detail how to isntall the lastest JA+ plugin on a mAC

it seems that nobody can use it but i know that some players have succeeded....

it seems the 1.01c patch has a bug
i can't find a solution to bypass the error which works in all cases...for all users

can bradn oliver can explain why the 1.01c patch does not load correctly the *_mac dll files?

The pk3 for the latest version that I made is here.

Place it in your japlus folder, and make sure that you have all the necessary japlus pk3s, e.g., clientPlugin_v1.3beta1.pk3

The problem with this approach is that it is likely to fail in a pure server situation. If the PC server running a pure JA+ doesn't have this Mac pk3 file, you won't be allowed to load it. Conversely, if you are running a Mac pure server with JA+ and this Mac pk3, and a PC user connects, they will be denied if they don't have the Mac pk3.

Bottom line: ditch the macfix pk3 and use the new Jedi Academy patch instead.

yes you can all remove the temporary JA+macfix.pk3 and install the 2.3beta1 with plugin1.3beta1 just using the lastest 1.01cmac patch of brad

To clarify, you want the Mac 1.01d patch, not 1.01c.

When i play in Multyplayer with the patch 1.0.1d and then to the homemenu go the server alway disconnects me. What can i do ? When i klick ok the game quits.

Hi Guys I have played JKA since August and have tried numerously to get JA 2.3 +Mod to work. First of all I have updated the MP to 1.01 from your link above but when it comes to the mod part I get confused. First of all I run JKA MP with all the pk3's from the mod file into my base, so it shows up with the Yoda and Jedi Academy Plus. Then it shows anakin dueling obiwan in the center of the page. And the last thing that worked that should it to customize the color of your character I used a twilek to try and I got it all shades of all purple. but now when I duel I still see other people and bump into them and secondly I cannot change my saber color to the color I want or the glow or what ever so I figured something I did was wrong. Could someone Please help me with the steps on what to do to get my mod fixed up. Thanks and Cheers CaptinCrow.

Im having the same exact problem as captain crow it is really driving me nuts i can load the ja+ mod i see yoda and everything but when it comes to customizing my saber colors it wont let me. I noticed that when i join a room theres a message in my console that says my plugin version is undefined but i have a plugin installed it doesnt make any sense. I guess if any of you would be kind enough to answer Crow's question or mine it would help both of us...thanks guys
