I got to the undead missions, then went back to Starcraft.
I just can't seem to get used to only 99 units. I want 200!

I'll probably go back to it once I beat Max Payne. I just got a geforce4 ti, so I'm interested to see how it will run now.
And that damn under the burning sky level pissed me off. I played it a couple of times, and on my last try, got down to 1 sec, then lost! That upset me a little.

hahaha i absolutely HATED that level... ugh. it took me forever. now i'm stuck on the last level of the game...
but i only attempt it once every few weeks. i've had the game since the launch.

Yeah, I stopped playing briefly into the orc campaign. Not entirely because it was boring. On I think the 3rd level, Thrall stopped gaining experience. He would kill one minotaur, get the experience, but after that it didn't work. And i wasn't going to attempt to continue on without my key hero gaining experience points.
I could bore you with a philosophical tirade about freedom and tyranny, or try and explain to you what new horizons are suddenly open to me, but I doubt you would understand and if you did it might frighten you. That amuses me.

I could be wrong, but i think that you can only gain so many lvls with your hero per level. if i remember correctly, my heros only gain like 1 or 2 levels per level. i think they intended it that way, because after i got to the next level, i could gain levels again.

I think the WC3 expantion looks great! Ive been playing wc3 since it the launch and i think its a great game. I'm also lookin forward to starcraft: Ghost even tho its only comin out for consoles 
Blizzard is great, especially when it comes to expanding their games.

I personally like the food cap. I was playing a mission with the Undead last night and I found that I had to carefully choose which units I wanted and decide when to start another base. A dozen ghouls or three or four abominations? Expand and sacrifice some offensive capability in exchange for additional acolytes, or maintain a massive attack force of ghouls and necromancers but lose potential resources?
I never really felt the need for deep decision-making in Starcraft. It was more oriented towards gathering as many resources as possible and racing to produce more units in a shorter amount of time than your enemy. It's still a great game, but I feel that Warcraft III is more refined.

Tycho, fourtysixandtwo was correct, to keep your heroes from getting too powerful too quickly, they put experience caps on by a per level basis. Play the humans again, it's easy to see this. There are way more enemies in a level then will give Arthas experience, he'll get a little past level 2 then stop gaining, not to resume until the next level of the game.

I play on Azeroth/east too, I usally play on my name Sardis, that's my practice name, I also use my clan nam once in a while, MA.BlakBantam
and yes hee is a "." since that's what we decided to use as a spacer between the tag and name, though our clkan, as bundy wll vouch, osrta died after certain memebers of the leadership bought a gamecube, TRAITORS
