power supplies
Okay, as noted in another thread, I found this case mod to be totally bitchin'.
I want to do this with my beige G3. problem: where can I find a low-profile power supply? That is compatible?
I checked newegg, but my search terms weren't working worth a damn.

Well, might not be able to make it that thin due to the personality card and other components. I could never get my Beige to function without the personality card 
.
Would be worth a shot tho. Could mount the PSU externally.

I've already tought of a possible solution for that. ribbon cable + desoldered PCI slot + edge connector from dead card = card mounted elsewhere
but that might not work for the personality card. very likely different pin config from a regular slot.
hey, someone did it, and you've got to be able to remotely mount the cards. unless they're going with total on-board video, usb, etc.
