3355 out

ut2004 3355 is out.

news at Icculus.org: http://icculus.org/news/news.php?id=2337

URL is the same there, and MGF, and VT.

DVD check removed, Unreal TV supported, and something I don't understand about better mod support with editor sutff added.

Since downloads are bogged and likely to have persistence problems, I recommend using Terminal's curl command to download it:

Code:

curl http://0day.icculus.org/ut2004/ut2004-macpatch3355.dmg.bz2 -o ut2004-macpatch3355.dmg.bz2 -C -

Just do the same command again to resume an interrupted download.  File will be in your userhome.

Re: 3355 out

I kept trying curl, and it sat there at 0 and timed out after a long while.  On about my 3rd try, I got in. (only about 5K/s though).

I still think most people will have better luck with curl than with Safari....imho.

Re: 3355 out

Man I wish they would just post the patch and the bonus pack seperatly. I got an 86MB d/l now. Either I got to wait hours or I go find me some place to leech from big_smile sneaky.

Perhaps I can use this patch as an opportunity to play in the clan again...maybe...

Or just do the following, which is easier to type:

Code:

ftp -R http://0day.icculus.org/ut2004/ut2004-macpatch3355.dmg.bz2

This is also resumable.

Re: 3355 out

Has everyone got this, or should I host it on my iDisk for a week?

Someone else did this too. Don't remember if it was Cee, Doc, Mr. Cigar...man it was like a year ago. wink

Maybe it wasn't the iMic either, possibly the iSight mic.

The iMic thingy does not work. The Logitech headset works great.

Re: 3355 out

Meh, built-in VoIP is okay...

I personally find it annoying because alot of 10 year olds use it to bash each other.  I started to turn it off...  If i need to talk, i use TeamSpeak or Ventrilo.

My new laptop:

Play on better servers. wink

Things like that don't happen on Cain's or USSR's servers.

Re: 3355 out

I know

I use ventrilo most of the time tho, i know it's PC only, so you guys can't use it.  Although, it's an awesome voice program.  Hopefully, they might bring it to Mac tho, it's an awesome program.

I play on gibgames because I like going on n00b hunts, it's fun wink
