When is the new Powerbook 17inch suppose to be shipped?
Hello,
I've just ordered the 17inch Powerbook, but I have no clue when they will start shipping it to people who've ordered. When I checked my order status, it says "on or before 04/02/2003" But I thought the sale guy on the phone told me Feb... but maybe I heard it wrong. Does anyone know any dates that Apple is suppose to start shipping this or make this available?
Thanks.
Ming

Mid March?
Several PC makers announced last year they'd have 17-inch screen notebook for sale this month.
If there are 17-inch screen PC notebooks available before anyone gets an Apple version of same, someone will be made fun of. But it wont be "the worlds first" time a company CEO gets ragged on.

It's becoming a little clearer why it was "Two Macworlds worth of stuff"; perhaps they were reaching a bit too far.
It's not a movie.
