eMac Problem
My brother recently purchased an eMachine with a CD-RW and DVD drive (tower not laptop). *I had nothing to do with this purchase!*
So anyways I agreed to set up the danged thing. I set it it up in about 30mins and played a quick 5minutes of a dvd then ejected it, did everything right and turned off the system. Low and behold the DVD drive will no longer eject. Anyone got any ideas?????? Thx.
Down with M$!
...and dont quote me on that.

e-machines, from what I understand, purchase and use refurbished parts.. so good luck.
Anyway, get a paperclip or toothpick and while the "machine" is on, jam one end in the tiny hole on the DVD player faceplate/. Sometimes said hole is under the tray, or literally in the groove where the tray opens. There's a manual release inside that little hole that should cause the thing to slide open.
