Bonka's Keynote Test-try it out!
Well, I posted in Unplugged a couple of days ago, and I mentioned that a short film I was involved with was to be showing in a Film Festival. I'm so excited about it that I decided to try my hand at a VERY basic Keynote.
It basically gives info about the flick. It's 1 meg, so let it download first, then click away..
Lemme know,
Bonka

Very nice Bonka. What format is that animation on the second to last slide where the screen is pulled down and then the words appear?

Thanks, primenumber. It was a process to get that look( too bad the .mac pages only allow you a small quicktime movie, because the full screen is awesome) Here are the steps for that very, very short clip..
1. I filmed an actor on mini DV, releasing the movie screen.
2. I imported into iMovie and reversed the shot.
3. I then added a MEDIAN effect to the entire clip.
4. and converted the clip into black and white
5. I then took a nap
6. After that, I exported every 3rd of 4th frame as a PICT file into a folder on my desktop
7. a)Using Photoshop, I painted EVERY frame blue, yellow, and green. I used a wide, slighly 'messy' style brush. I wanted it to look hand painted.
b) For the title, same thing, except the actual title was a font.
8. I then imported the entire folder into the great freeware app STILL LIFE and created a single DV clip.
9. I imported into iMovie again and added a tune I wrote to compliment the picture. Export, and Voila!
So, there you have it 9 1/2 steps to making a rough animation.

Nicely done, I really enjoy Rotoscoping, your logo this there at the end has a very pleasing asthetic. I once did the effects for an Entire Star Wars Fan film back in the day by painting each from in Photoshop... Blah... but then I learned After Affects, ah beautiful After Effects...
Anyway, I dig that thing you made, the QT Slideshow format is very nice, I can see that being really usefull...
