[edit] Update 6/9/2006
I have moved my macros and links to my personal site for ease of maintenance.
Please note I have added MANY more new macros since I last posted on these forums, including several fixes to the originals.
I'm also working on my own mod called MacBot (MB for short) that contains many of these plus a handy targeting and attack/assist system. big_smile

Re: Links, Macros and Scripts

I do have some macros but they are fairly simple in nature. I find that situations usually cannot be planned for and it is best if I make the decisions on the spot than before hand. Nothing wrong with making macros, just making sure no one wants everyone to use them.

Re: Links, Macros and Scripts

I agree, last thing I would want would be us becoming "the MACRO Guild". I in no way want anybody to think I am trying to get everyone to use these. Maybe your a speed typer and like typing out messages about heals. Maybe you have a better macros or improvements you'd like to suggest to mine. I just put them out here as a helpful starter, for anyone interested. Just for me its hard to guage how much to heal someone, and last thing i need to do is consult my spellbook or the popbars to see what spell will heal the best in a given situation.

Feel free to use, mutilate, alter, change, suggest improvements for, or ignore my macros to your hearts content. These are for the most part not original. I gleaned them from the WoW forums macro threads. The only one I haven't seen is the NUKE macro which is just the flipside of the HEAL v2 macro. Just thought I'd pass them along. Hope you can find a good use for them. -netnutz

Re: Links, Macros and Scripts

Just a quick note to let everyone know that I updated the codes in the 1st post to have the pets in the PULL/ASSIST macros, added couple of other macros including the NUKE/RUNNER and the FEED Pet macros. Hope at least one of these macros will be of some use to you at some point in your WoW adventures. Best wishes. -netnutz

Re: Links, Macros and Scripts

Added a combined Assist/Pull macro and to bump the thread. I haven't tested this macro. It may also be too long. If it is, could possibly just put /script PetAttack(); on last line and expect errors for non-pet classes.

If someone does test the the combined Assist/Pull macro, please post back here so others will know it worked or not. Thanks. -netnutz

P.S. Groid is there any chance of stickying this or is it 'worthy'? wink

Re: Links, Macros and Scripts

Bump,
Added 5 druid specific macros that buff or heal based on target level or amount of damage to heal on target, these could be retasked fairly easily for any classes group buffs, or priests heals. I did not write these but found them on forums.worldofwarcraft.com.
Hope you get some use from these. -netnutz

Added a L33T CRAFTED GEAR section for links to Ralumos and Gary's threads so they don't get forgotten/lost. Please post any questions about the mats or other alternative in their respective threads. Let me know if you want your crafted high-end gear listed here. -netnutz

Re: Links, Macros and Scripts

Just a quick update to let everyone know that I updated the last 5 macros (MotW, Thorns, Rejuv, Regrow, Heal) and the combined Assist/Pull macro to make sure that they are what I have in my macros on Terax. If they do not work for you, make sure you delete any carriage returns (just don't delete any ';' as they are required). I put the carriage returns in the code blocks above to make the text display properly on the forums here. These are macros I use on a regular basis and have not had any problems with them at all.

You should be able to change the spell to other classes Spell names without problem, you just need to change the r to be your current highest rank for that spell, and set the 'l' values to be the levels at which you got each new rank of the spell. If you have any problems, just let me know and I'll be happy to help. -netnutz

Re: Links, Macros and Scripts

I don't think HT has any level restrictions (although you might waste a little mana healing a lvl 1 with the top tier heal).

Re: Links, Macros and Scripts

Thats why the healing touch macro one is based on a players total HP minus their current HP, ie. amount of damage to heal. So the number in the macro is the amount healed for that rank of the Healing Touch in the array. Therefore it can only ever over heal by one rank, which is about as mana efficient as your gonna get, shy of having it do some fancy damage tracking and calculations as to estimated damage at the time the spell would land, which would be near impossible for a macro. This is the only macro that I have setup that way, and that is how it was on the WoW Druid Macros thread as well.

Re: Links, Macros and Scripts

Ahhh...okay. I think I am going to start using the buff ones. It is a pain to pick the right one.

Re: Links, Macros and Scripts

Very nice, think you could make some good warrior ones?

Idea:

Intimidating Shout and then Bandage or something like that.

Re: Links, Macros and Scripts

I updated the orignal post above. I have moved the macros and links to my personal site for easier control for me.

I also have many macros, almost for every class, including warriors. smile
Please feel free to contact me if you have questions.

I'm not sure what you mean by a bandage one? To automatically find a bandage in your inventory? I've never done that but it would be possible. I've not writton a macro/mod yet to search thru the spellbook or inventory. I'd have to look into it. Generally I just drop the icon of my bandage into my bars somewhere so I don't have to find them. But just to forwarn you, with current WoW mechanics you can NOT cast two spells with one keypress period. Battle shout is a spell/action and bandaging is an action, so it wouldn't work. It would have to be like a stand stance that checks for the status and does either one or the other. The macro below is just an example, I don't know if there's a function GetSpellInfo, but if it did exist this is what I'd write.

Code:

 /script texture,name,isActive,isCastable = GetSpellInfo("Battle Shout()");
if isActive CastSpellByName("Battle Shout()") else UseContainerItem(0,16); end;

The warrior macros are on the new site. -NN
