Re: Psychotic games for bigots receiving resistance
Most male homophobes aren't anti-homosexual really, they're just against gay men. Funny isn't it?
Uh...you realize this is an oxymoronic and contradictory statement? Homophobes are by definition "anti-homosexual" most often violently so, what their true motivations are is anyones guess but they are quite a bit more than just "against gay men" if they're beating one up.
Rainbowz is correct in that those "lesbian" videos are not true lesbians but just promoted that way. Two lesbians would want nothing to do with a man sexually anymore than two gay guys would want a woman to join in--and it's more than just a question of possessing the relevant equipment.
I assumed that Slade's clarification pointed out that "homophobes" don't even consider 'lesbians' hence the 'against gay men' point.... Maybe I read it wrong.

All you need now is someone with cheese and crackers--because you got the whine covered.I would think that any sort of 'kiddie porn' game (I'm not sure how that would work) would not be possible because the laws concerning kiddie porn are so great. Not even GTA touches the drug issue, to my knowledge.

well gta3 kinda did - there was mention of 'spank', a fictional drug. also the game's 'secret packages' were bricks of crack, although it was never acknowledged as anything other than a secret package...the same packages are dropped from a plane at one point in the game and then suddenly most of the cops in the city are after you.
in gta vice city there is a cut scene in which one of the characters does a line on a table, although you cannot see any white powder, just him snorting something

Since he had that line out there all by itself, maybe I was taking it out of context--but lesbians are homosexuals too.
Just a personal dislike on my part for the semantics of "homosexual men" vs. "lesbians" this is a fairly recent phenomenon of gay culture (last 15 years) that gay women have discarded the term "gay" and or "homosexual" in describing themselves, they just want to be considered as the singularity "lesbian". This is evidenced in the media and by gay organizations with the use of "GLBT" (Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual, and Transgender) as an inclusive term for all the "sexually repressed" minorities.
Personally, as a gay man, I feel little affinity for bi-sexuals and even less for transgendered people, let them create their own movements for their civil rights-don't tie your wooden wheeled wagon onto my already moving train.

Re: Psychotic games for bigots receiving resistance
last year, my freshman year in HS, this lesbian girl i chilled with convinced me to work with the GSA i nthe school. i remember at one of the meetings we were thinking of ways to get people aware of the existance of the GSA. i brought up the idea for having GBLT day, making a bunch of BLT's and passing them out at lunch. we were too lazy and broke to do it, and all school funding went directly to sports. blah.
relevant? no
interesting? maybe
funny? i think so[/b]

Yes, that was a great idea! Bacon Lettuce Tomato sandwiches? That's what I think of everytime I see GLBT!
[watch out though...bets are being made to see if "P" for pedophile gets added for all our fellow-oppressed priests]

Re: Psychotic games for bigots receiving resistance
I would also like to point out that I hate the fact that the group NAMBLA attempts to draw a connection between their "plight" and that of the gay/lesbian movement.
They are attempting to advocate an illegal activity that involves a minor who cannot consent to sexual activity. It is NOT the same thing (just as assuming that all men who molest male children are homosexual is, by-and-large, a fallacy).

They have a really poorly designed website if you'd like to see for yourself.
