'HBO's Founding Father'
Interview With Destiny! Claude Errera, Founder of HBO
You think you're a Bungie fan? You ain't got nothing on Claude Errera, the sparkling wit and youthful vigor behind Halo.Bungie.Org, arguably the oldest, biggest and most comprehensive Bungie fansite on the entire interweb. Halo.Bungie.Org knows things about Bungie even Bungie doesn't know. We sat down with Claude to gather his thoughts now that he's had time to digest Halo 2.
I think someone 'round these parts knows something about HBO, too...

Re: 'HBO's Founding Father'
Hey! He didn't mention that Steve Campbell and I were the guys that actually created bungie.org and we were the two guys that in fact "hired" him to come onboard. Go figure. So I'll mention it. We decided that Claude would make a good Marathon map archivist as he had done some work for the Marathon Northwest Archives at marathon.org. Steve had the Midwest Archives, but he was sick of doing it and I was too busy scratching around the Internet trying to get people to pay attention to us, and arranging events such as contests and giveaways and writing announcements until my head caved in. Little did we know at the time we asked him to help out that he would eventually inherit the entire site.
We ran the site like the Knights of the Round Table but first Steve and I decided who was to come onboard, then we would interview them to make sure they understood what we were attempting. After that everybody had a say on things, we gathered on efnet's #bungie (the actual "Table") but we also did a lot of discussion on our list serve. It was a lot of fun, and a lot of work.
And Bat, I left b.org while HBO was still blam.bungie.org, so I really don't know that much about HBO. I never really even followed it after I left.

Clarified. I remembered you writing about this a time or three, but we know where those posts went... nothing left to check. {Sigh}
