I think I am fully capable of going to the store and buying the update without the help of you others.  If you guys want to meet and stroke each other that's fine I'll be the guy that walks in buys his software and then walks out.  Oh and I will also be the guy making fun of the rubes that are in there hanging out for some stupid reason.

It's just a way to get together with other people who post MA forums. I have met some great people (in the flesh) and made good friends here. Come and meet other people behind that screen name.
Also if you have been a a-hole to people in the forums I think you might not want to come.

Kurto, why don't ya just go play with yourself in the corner, no one cares what you think when you post crap like that. [MA] has done stuff like this since X.2 when Apple had big parties going on at the Apple stores for eash release.

I could do RC, maybe Pasadena but thats streachin it. I'd probably need a lift to one of the others tho.

alas... I'm not driving from San Diego to Newport Beach on a friday night for a software launch, $2.60/gallon here. Plus I'm pre-ordered.  Not that it wouldn't be awesome to meet more MAFers...

oh and MB38, will there be free mouse pads like with Jaguar? Those were the best mouse pads I'd used in a long time. The Panther dog tags were neat but useless...

The Pasadena one is nice, but parking is hell around it. There is a parking structure nearby, it just takes some time to get thru the foot traffic.

One plus about going there is, theres a Ghiradelli chocolate shop nearby . So we can do the OSX event then get some freaken awesome chocolate ice cream to go. If you don't like it then fine, more for me

A car pool I'd be down for.  The only other thing is that I have an early morning call for work the next day. (14 hour event on a Saturday ) How early hasn't been passed down yet.  I'll have to see what the word is on that.

Where is your sense of adventure Kirk? So where we gonna meet? Or are we just going to cluster instead of stampead?

If South Coast is farther north than Fashion Island, I'l go for that.
