NEED HELP COPYING A DVD MOVIE...

I've never done this before, but I need to burn a copy of a DVD (studio movie) for back-up purposes.

Is there an easy way to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Re: NEED HELP COPYING A DVD MOVIE...

Once I get the files from the DVD using MacTheRipper, do I just drag all files into Toast?  Or do I just drag the movie portion?

New at this.  Sorry.

Re: NEED HELP COPYING A DVD MOVIE...

all you need to do is drag the Video_TS folder into Toast, but make sure you have chosen the Video icon at the top and then DVD button on the side first.  If it's too big it will alert you, that's where DVD to One comes in.

Re: NEED HELP COPYING A DVD MOVIE...

If it's a movie his studio made, it's probably not too large to fit on a generic DVD.

Re: NEED HELP COPYING A DVD MOVIE...

That's the way I've done it in the past.  As long as you don't press the record button on the DV camera, it won't initiate the copy protection.
