I am back arround, kind of
I havent been able to post from the AOL browser, after the change to PUNBBII code, but I can use safari from wifi hotspots, which I am doing now.
I can't play recon much, NC can figure out why, but I will play when I can get my hands on some free wirless bandwidth.

Ouch, that sucks. Shame about havin to use that AOL. I've seen a few free wifi spots around but most make you pay. Unless some neighbor nearby has wifi with plenty of bandwith. I finally got a neighbor nearby that has it but to access it requires sitting on the floor near a window on top of stinky old shoes. So I pretty much leave it alone in most cases.

None of my friggin neighbors are givin anything away, I am paying for the crap I get, pretty lousy connection too, but it is still a hellof alot better than dialup.
I think most public librarys etc... give free wifi theese days, I will just have to try to find out.
Good news though, there is lots of free bandwidth where I will most of this summer.
I will hopefully have my own internet connection in the next year-year-1/2 so I will someday be back, no strings atached, with some nice bandwidth, and I might be able to run a 24/7 server or something.

Sounds good, i'll try to keep things going for ppl like you. Maybe by then we will be up to using Ghost Recon 3. Looks like Ghost Recon 2 got pulled for being crappy.
Who knows, maybe by the time you get back i'll be on DSL and hosting servers up. I'd really like to do that. Get a weekend and maybe nighttime server going around here.

I have am playing some tonight, I have some good free wi access!!! It is real nice shooting somebody and having them drop dead on the first shot rather than lag arround and then kill you the first shot.
