Re: Sagall's Blog

Actually, Sifl was on the agro table first (stupid mages tongue) I would have been able to heal longer if I wasn't only 48.

Re: Sagall's Blog

I take issue with the 'easily' part, Conner.  I've now tried with two different groups of people and wiped both times.

Nageth is only level 48?  Heh, I didn't notice.

Re: Sagall's Blog

Yup, got half way to 49 last night (started at 0 xp into 49 so it was a good night).

Getting that druid leather drop though was sad.

UBRS used to be called hard - now people regularly run it with less then 10.  Hell, Onxyia "used to be impossible" and she's farm status for most folks.

Conner - OK, but those people qualify as veterans, experienced players.  'Easy' implies a beginner to a particular area could handle it.

Naggy - We could go back and you could bring your druid.  I like Sunken Temple.

Well, I've never wiped there - that's one bit.

In fact, the last time I wiped in an instance was probably Zul'Ferek.

Oh thats okay, the gear would have been nice back when Naggy was an appropriate level for temple. I wouldn't mind going again with Nageth though.

Re: Sagall's Blog

Last night I finally made 'friendly' with the Thorium Brotherhood.  I turned in my banked 280 'dark iron residue' and made it a third of the way toward 'honored'.

I escorted party of low 50s through Sunken Temple.  There was some decent blue items, but none better than what I currently have.

Anybody up for Scarlet Stratholme?  I still need to do a five man trip through there.  Alternately let's finally go kill that demon, Rahk'likh.

Well last night sucked. My fault I asked for a healer and didn't notice I invited a Pally. Lesson learned...don't ask for healers...be specific and ask for a priest.

*sigh* Dont you hate it when you ask for a Paladin (which in this game = Cleric from D&D) and you get a Critadin who has >2k Mana and doesn't heal cause it kills his 'insane' dps.

Yeah he said he was spec'd for "flash heals". Whatever that means.

Re: Sagall's Blog

I had a hard drive crash that knocked me out of the game for a few days.

Last night I joined a pick-up group raiding Scholomance.  I got some gold but no goodies dropped that were better than my current equipment.

Yeah, sorry about not going. I think 51 is still a little low for that but I could probably manage brd and the like.

Re: Sagall's Blog

It was a raid, not a party.  I suspect you'd have been OK.  However I understand not wanting to risk dying a lot.  The repairs can get expensive. wink

I'm going to try getting a five man together for the Scarlet Crusade portion of Stratholme late tonight, probably after 10 PM PDT.  I've a half dozen quests that need completion.  Five mans to Stratholme or Scholomance need to be all level 60s, IMO.

Nah, you can bring along mid50s. (Oh, cloth repair bills are pretty cheap.)

I 4 manned Baron Strat last night to get my Seal of the Dawn, was kinda fun, still not challenging after the nerf of Strat though.

Re: Sagall's Blog

Over the weekend I made a couple solo farming runs through Shadowfang Keep, DeadMines and Scarlet Cathedral.  I also did Scarlet Stratholme and Scholomance.  I had almost a hundred items up for auction on Sunday. wink Some fool paid me 25G for the plans for padded woolen shoulders.

My near eternal thanks to Nag for turning my thorium and arcane crystals into arcanite.

I still need to successfully five-man Scarlet Stratholme and complete a half dozen quests.  I've now tried about ten times and we've not made it.

Chris - I've five manned the undead side of Stratholme already.  The Scarlet side is harder.

I'm just the world's most unlucky WoW player.

I can't dump my Void pattern for 50g or my extra 4 of beasts for 2g.

Re: Sagall's Blog

What?  Was that you that paid the 25G? tongue

Last night I handed out halloweeen candy to the kiddies.  I gave out about 120 pieces.  Hence I got on WoW rather late.  Nobody was going anywhere I was interested, so I farmed Scarlet Monastery - undead.  It went quick and garnered a few more auctionable items.

Re: Sagall's Blog

Last night I soloed most of Razorfen Downs.  I had killed the spiders, skeletons and Glutton and started up the spiral ramp when Siggy called for a raid on the Undercity.  I hearthed back to IF, put my loot up for sale and flew out.  That was my largest ever raid group (about 50 people).  We got 15 kills before heading back. Toward the end I was tanking the big demon.  Both of us were down to almost no health.  When I died, he mysteriously was back to full health.  What's up with that?

Left before the dishonourable kill? I think someone killed the fishing trainer.

Anyway, yeah the UC raid was interesting, I was tanking about 6 skellies and Sylvanas at one point.

Re: Sagall's Blog

Yeah, I did.  I guess it was a good thing.

Next time we do that, I suggest staging somewhere besides right in front of the entrance.  We might have gotten a second run at the boss without too many Horde interfering.
