Well seeing as Hitchhikers was rather stupid. Yeah I saw it today, almost walked out of it. The jokes weren't funny and the story was just plain dumb to me. Maybe fans of the book might like it more shrug

With SW and Serenity coming this should be a good summer for SciFi still.

Saw H2G2 yesterday as well. Pretty much went into the toilet after the first 15 min. I guess I stayed hoping to see some of the better jokes but I knew they couldn't/wouldn't be done. Oh well. I'll just have to pull out my H2G2 CD and listen again.

If I wanted a goofy scifi movie I probably would watch Spaceballs or something like that over HG2G. The point I was most tempted to walk out was when the mice part came in near the end. Really glad I only paid $4 for it by going to a cheaper discount cinema. It is not worth more than that to me.

I got mine for $19.99 because someone mismarked the price at Suncoast. Second best deal I ever got (first best being the discount I got on my G5 smile ) considering how much I love the series.

eek only $20. You really lucked out there. Suncoast is notorious for their high pricing. Think they want $50 for it right now at the one near me. While i'd like to buy another Firefly DVD set, i'm not willing to pay $15 more than what I paid.

See now why wasn't that put in the movie?! That bit there might have made me laugh once during the whole movie big_smile .

Now I gotta admit that Marvin's character had his moments but sadly they didn't seem to do much on him in this movie.
