Re: Yes another ilife topic lol

You have to pay $20 for shipping and handling. Funny cuz I thought that's what the $50 full price was for.

LOL! Exactly...

If it had been a later mac, one manufactured after iLife was released, you would have gotten it preinstalled, but since you didn't they'll give it to ya for $19.95...  Not to bad a deal...

Re: Yes another ilife topic lol

Why would you want to buy iLife when you only have an iBook? iDVD is the only part of it you cant d/l for free and you cant even use it.  Just get the other 3 online and burn em to a cd and voi-la... instant iBook iLife smile

Wow, good point, not sure how that one slipped past all of us...  Whoops, unless you have an internet connection that makes downlaoding the other  apps impossible or improbable, no need to pay ANYTHING...

Yeah, you have no SuperDrive... so you have no need for iDVD3... all the other apps (iMovie/iPhoto/iTunes) will be available for free as downloads on or before the 31st. smile

Just out of interest from a fellow Vancouverite, where did you go to get your computer?  Mac Station?  Westworld? One of the other dealers?

Heh I missed the bit about him having a PowerMac with SD.  Oh well... smile  I am sure all you will have to pay is $20 for shipping and handling... you might even be able to get it for free if you take your dated sales receipt/order form into the Apple store.  Who knows... smile
